Job Title: Driver
Introduction
We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused driver to handle the transportation of goods and/or passengers efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and possess strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport documents, packages, goods, and materials as required
- Provide transportation support to company staff when needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and schedule necessary maintenance
- Ensure timely, safe, and accurate completion of all delivery assignments
- Keep detailed records of mileage, fuel use, and trip logs
- Optimize routes while adjusting to traffic and unforeseen delays
- Comply with all traffic laws and internal company policies
- Assist with general office errands and duties as needed
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior experience as a driver
- Clean driving record
- Physically fit with the ability to handle demanding schedules
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic conditions
- Experience using GPS and navigation systems
- Additional certifications (e.g. defensive driving, professional driving courses)
