Salary: R193,359 per annum
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)
- Grade C Security Certificate
- Must be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
- No prior work experience is required
Knowledge and Understanding of:
- Batho Pele Principles
- Department of Employment and Labour policies and procedures
- Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act
- Evacuation procedures
- Promotion of Access to Information Act
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act
Skills and Competencies:
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor activities at access control points
- Observe security cameras and control room monitors to detect suspicious activity
- Provide frontline customer service to both internal staff and external visitors
- Conduct patrols within the building to ensure safety and adherence to security protocols
- Oversee and manage deliveries at Laboria House
