Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Computer literacy certificate
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong secretarial and administrative capabilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage diaries and office operations
- Strong understanding of the motor vehicle industry (advantageous)
- 2 to 3 years of relevant administrative experience within a Local Government environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient administrative support to the Executive Director and section heads
- Handle general administrative duties for the Electrical Section, including:
- Drafting routine correspondence and maintaining documentation for future reference
- Typing documents for the Superintendent/Foreman using a computer or word processor
- Managing incoming calls, screening and redirecting service request or complaint calls to relevant personnel
- Handling leave administration tasks
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Salary Information:
- Basic Salary: R228,828 – R255,780 per annum (Level 9 – Grade 04 Local Authority)
- Total Package (Including Benefits): R376,906.60 per annum
