Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Computer literacy certificate
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong secretarial and administrative capabilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage diaries and office operations
  • Strong understanding of the motor vehicle industry (advantageous)
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant administrative experience within a Local Government environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the Executive Director and section heads
  • Handle general administrative duties for the Electrical Section, including:
    • Drafting routine correspondence and maintaining documentation for future reference
    • Typing documents for the Superintendent/Foreman using a computer or word processor
    • Managing incoming calls, screening and redirecting service request or complaint calls to relevant personnel
    • Handling leave administration tasks
  • Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Salary Information:

  • Basic Salary: R228,828 – R255,780 per annum (Level 9 – Grade 04 Local Authority)
  • Total Package (Including Benefits): R376,906.60 per annum
